Vaccinations: When, Why, How, and Which Ones Do I Really Need?
The warm days are starting to outnumber the cold, and as we start riding again, we start planning our calendars. With those plans, comes the realization that it’s time to schedule spring shots and Coggins tests. We know we must do them, but why is this a tradition in the spring? Why is this a good idea? What are we vaccinating for? Are they really still needed?
Rounding Post – October 2021
NOVAWE built it and you have come and showed up with helping hands and smiles. Collectively we are improving our WE skills, horsemanship and also importantly, we are all benefiting in experiencing amazing sportsmanship and unequal camaraderie, which is a miraculous byproduct of this sport of “all breeds and disciplines.” This sport promotes passion and motivation unequalled. And most importantly, I truly believe our horses enjoy it and are better for it.
Spotlight – Kate Hall and Aster Equine Photography
Kate Hall is proof positive that a picture is worth a thousand words. Just take a look at her website Aster Equine Photography and you’ll be met by moving images of beautiful moments with horses. Her subjects are captured with an artistic flare that needs no narrative. Yet Kate’s story of how she came to stand behind the camera is unique; Northern Virginia Working Equitation (NOVAWE) proudly Spotlights and welcomes Aster Equine Photography as a NOVAWE Business Member.
