At the end of 2018, Biddie Lowry started a Facebook community to help grow interest in the sport of Working Equitation in Northern Virginia and the surrounding area.  What started as her desire to help share information about this amazing sport among friends, has grown to a 1600 plus strong community of Facebook friends. Over the years she worked with others to produce clinics, obstacle practice days, schooling shows and licensed shows in and around Northern Virginia.  We have all learned so much, improved our Working Equitation (WE) skills, and had incredible amounts of fun in the process.

In the beginning, Diane Hutchinson, Laura Guillaudeu, and Biddie Lowry formalized the NOVAWE group into a member organization in August of 2019. These are the Founding Board Members.

Our member community is friendly and growing.  We offer obstacle practice days, clinics, schooling shows, and licensed shows and can help you get started to organize your own WE events.  You and your horse will have a blast.
